 NASA's dragon fly mission aim is to search for prebiotic chemical processes and habitability in saturn's moon Titan.In this mission a rotorcraft fly on Titan and collect important data.This will be the 1st mission have rotorcraft fly on other than earth and mars surface and also rotorcraft fly on other earth moon.This will become 1st mission have rotorcraft fly on TiTan. Nasa Explores Cost Effective Methods For Mars Sample Returning Mission

 Nasa exploring alternative ways to bring sample of Mars to earth,as a part of Mars sample returning program.these samples are collected by Perseverance rover from 2021 to send them to earth for further studies

In that process Nasa conducting about 10 studies to find fast and reliable way to bring sample back to earth.as a effort of that Nasa will award about $1.5 millon to seven proposers for 90 days studies

Additionally Nasa centers,NASA's JBL of california etc are also in studies.once all these studies are completed,Nasa will consider all studies to make modifications to Mars sample bringing plan

“Mars Sample Return will be one of the most complex missions NASA has undertaken, and it is critical that we carry it out more quickly, with less risk, and at a lower cost,”. “I’m excited to see the vision that these companies, centers and partners present as we look for fresh, exciting, and innovative ideas to uncover great cosmic secrets from the Red Planet.”said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson

Nasa selected companies or proposal among those responded to the April 15 request for proposals


  • Lockheed Martinin Littleton, Colorado: “Lockheed Martin Rapid Mission Design Studies for Mars Sample Return”
  • SpaceX in Hawthorne, California: “Enabling Mars Sample Return With Starship”
  • Aerojet Rocketdyne in Huntsville, Alabama: “A High-Performance Liquid Mars Ascent Vehicle, Using Highly Reliable and Mature Propulsion Technologies, to Improve Program Affordability and Schedule”
  • Blue Origin in Monrovia, California: “Leveraging Artemis for Mars Sample Return”
  • Quantum Space, in Rockville, Maryland: “Quantum Anchor Leg Mars Sample Return Study”
  • Northrop Grumman in Elkton, Maryland: “High TRL MAV Propulsion Trades and Concept Design for MSR Rapid Mission Design”
  • Whittinghill Aerospace in Camarillo, California: “A Rapid Design Study for the MSR Single Stage Mars Ascent Vehicle”
This program (Nasa's Mars sample bringing to earth) is  partnership program with ESA.sudies on Mars samples reveals a valuable information about red planet.Nasa returning a few scientifically selected sample because agency want complete this program fast and reliable.
